Artist Bio:

Located out of Edmonton Alberta, Jennifer Boadway blends her passion for both science and art, centering her artwork around the natural world. She works in a variety of mediums, primarily oil, acrylic, and watercolour, creating semi realist pieces that experiment with colour.

Jennifer graduated in 2023 out of the University of Alberta’s Augustana campus with a Bachelor of science majoring in biology and minoring in fine arts. This was where she began to delve into subjects of biology, including birds, mycology, and botany.

Her current bodies of work aim to bring more attention to often overlooked species and subjects by experimenting with illustrations and the use of vibrant colours. Her goal is to spread more passion for the natural world and those that we share it with.
